A MODERN RETELLING OF KAFKA'S INCOMPLETE NOVEL.
In The Castle, a man named K arrives in a mysterious village with the intent to work as a land surveyor. The dubious village is ruled by a caste of people in the castle. K is unable to reach the Castle… it cannot be visited. The rulers are incommunicado and cannot be spoken to by the common people. The village doesn’t require a land surveyor and K is reassigned to work as a janitor.
